Sunday 6-Pack: NFL Divisional Playoffs!

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. IT is all getting close to being over. The  regular season has slipped away and Wild Card Weekend has slipped away. Now it’s time for Divisional Weekend. In the early game on Saturday it was Pat Mahomes and the 12-4 Kansas City Chiefs hosting Andrew Luck and the 11-6 Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs got up big in this one and never looked back. Pat Mahomes was awesome, but it was the Chiefs defense that stole the show. When this game was over, it was the Kansas City Chiefs dominating with the 31-13 win. The late game on Saturday had the bright Hollywood lights as a backdrop as Jared Goff and the 13-3 Los Angeles Rams hosted Dak Prescott and the 11-6 Dallas Cowboys. This game was supposed to be all about Ezekiel Elliott and Cowboys run game but it was the duo of  Tod Gurley and C.J. Anderson that ran wild in Los Angeles, and it was the Rams securing the 30-22 victory. Sunday’s action got started as Tom Brady and the 11-5 New England Patriots were hosting Philip Rivers and the 13-4 Los Angeles Chargers. As most Patriots playoff games go, this one was a blowout early. And as the case most often the Patriots are going back to yet another AFC Championship. They do so by beating the Chargers 41-28. Then it was Drew Brees and the 13-3 New Orleans Saints hosting Nick Foles and the 10-7 Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles jumped out to an early 14 point lead, but that would be the last points the Eagles would score. The Saints went on a 20-0 run and that would prove to be enough as the Saints won 20-14. So now we’re down to four teams with two trips to the Super Bowl on the line. Championship Sunday starts in the NFC as Jared Goff and the 14-3 Los Angeles Rams. Then it’s off to Arrowhead for the AFC Championship as Pat Mahomes and the 13-4 Kansas City Chiefs host Tom Brady and the 12-5 New England Patriots. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Divisional Weekend edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football!
