San Francisco 49ers Defense2 Football Radio Show: NFC Championship Recap San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

Conference Championship Sunday started with the Atlanta Falcons hosting the San Francisco 49ers. Julio Jones was destroying the 49ers early and helped the Falcons build a 17-0 lead. Before the first half was over the Falcons would score 24 points, unfortunately for Falcon fan, that was the last points they would score. The 49ers defense finally came to life posting a second half shut out and punched their ticket to Super Bowl XLVII after stopping the Falcons on 4th down with just over a minute left in the game when NaVorro Bowman knocked down a Ryan pass intended for Roddy White. The San Francisco 49ers win 28-24 and will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl and Casey and Dave will hit you with all the details on this 49ers at Falcons NFC Championship Recap episode of The Football Radio Show.

Both Conference Championship Games are set but it took a crazy weekend of NFL football to get there. The Divisional Round of the Playoffs got started Saturday with the Broncos hosting the Ravens, and Ray’s last ride will last at least one more week as the Ravens beat the Broncos in double overtime 38-35. Then it was off to San Francisco for the Colin Kaepernick Show as he and the 49ers ran all over the Packers in a 45-31 route. Then it was down to the Dirty on Sunday for Seahawks at Falcons. Russell Wilson rocked out with his Hawk out leading a furious comeback from a 20-0 half time deficit to a 28-27 lead with 31 seconds left in the game. Just enough time for Matty Ice to move the Falcons into field goal range and a 30-28 win. Sunday finished up with Tom Brady and the Patriots hosting the Texans, but Tom rarely treats his guests well and this would be no exception. The Patriots trashed the Texans 41-28. Dave and Casey recap all the action and get you geared up for Championship Sunday on this episode of The Football Radio Show.

Coupled with a Texans loss, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos could clinch the 1st Seed in the AFC Playoffs and home field advantage throughout with a win over the Chiefs. Well the Texans lost and the Broncos stomped the Chiefs 38-3 so the road to the Super Bowl now rolls through Denver. If there is a bright spot for the Chiefs in the loss, they secured the #1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Casey and Dave recap Bucs at Falcons, Cardinals at 49ers, Raiders at Chargers, and Chiefs at Broncos on this episode of The Football Radio Show.

Mingo Looking to Bring Some Bark Back to the Dog PoundApril 26, 2013 – 9:30 am by Chris Fedor The Cleveland Browns plan this offseason has been very clear: get after the opposing quarterback. Misused at LSU (asked to play a lot of contain against dual threat QB’s) Mingo’s production (just 4.5 sacks) doesn’t look worthy …
